Mario Day is celebrated each year on March 10 (MAR10 looks like Mario…so, let's lean into it, shall we?), and if you have video game lovers in your household, they can get in on the Mario fun all year long.
In 2026, we've got a new Mario movie hitting theatres and plenty of nostalgic Mario titles re-emerging for gamers to enjoy on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Beyond that, if you want your kids to twin in matching Mario apparel or enjoy toys based on the most famous Bros. in the Mushroom Kingdom, here are some ways you can celebrate Mario Day in your household all year long!

Mario Tennis Fever
Multi-Player Fun
This is the newest Mario game out there and one the whole family can play together! Mario Tennis Fever puts Mario on a familiar court with a new twist. "Fever rackets" power up Mario moves, adding a level of difficulty (and fun) when you're playing against your friends in a variety of fantastical courts. The replay factor is endless, making it a great game to buy for the Switch 2 (just make sure you have an extra set of Joy-Cons if everyone wants to play with Motion Controls).

Super Mario Galaxy 1+2
Wii-Era Classic
With the Super Mario Galaxy Movie release in April of 2026, adding Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 to your Nintendo library is basically a must. This game is available for the original Switch or the Switch 2 (with enhancements for the latter), bringing a set of the Wii-era's best Mario games to a new generation of console. The best part? If you buy before March 31 at select retailers, you'll get a special Mario 40th anniversary themed wristlet keychain!

Switch 2 - Expanded Memory
Samsung Express SD
With all of these game suggestions and fun Mario titles in the Nintendo for eShop, your console's memory may fill faster than your ability to finish games in your library. The Nintendo Switch 2 uses a different type of Micro SD card called Express SD cards. If you're looking to add storage space for your console rather than delay adventures in the Mushroom Kingdom or Mario Kart World, simply slide one of these into your console for non-stop gaming fun.

Mario Kart Race Track
Let's-a-Go!
In the category of "Toys Grown-ups Also Love," there's nothing quite like a classic race track. This is as iconic of a design as any other "slot" race car track you remember from your childhood, but nowadays, the kids get WAY cooler options for what the cars look like. Even Mario and Luigi versions! You can create a flat single tier, or an overlapping figure-eight race layout. This track features fun Mario Kart elements and it runs on batteries, so there are fewer cords for toddlers to trip over!

Fisher-Price Little People My Mario Adventure Playset
Course Cleared!
This is the My Mario Adventure Playset by Fisher-Price. It's an interactive playset that will bring parents back to their childhoods as they watch their own children immerse themselves in imaginative play. It's got some iconic music and sounds from the video game, and plenty of hands-on activities to help foster fine motor skills and help toddlers and preschool kids learn about cause and effect. They can spin the Goomba pipe, drop figures down the pipe, bounce the Chain Chomp, and more. This set comes with a Mario figure and a Fire Flower play piece. Realistically, you'll need more than just Mario for your twins to play co-op in real-time, so consider also grabbing this set of Little People My Mario characters. This set comes with Mario (so, if you get the separate My Mario Adventure Playset, then you'll have two Marios, which is probably not a bad idea since both twins may want to be Mario at the same time), plus Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Yoshi, and Bowser.

Nintendo Super Mario Bros. Cotton Baseball Cap
Luigi Time!
This is a set of two Super Mario Bros. baseball caps featuring Mario and Luigi, a duo as dynamic as your twins. Designed to fit toddlers between ages two and four, these durable hats are made of cotton, feature a curved brim, and have a 3D pop design. You can easily adjust the fit with moveable snap closure, and the sweatband on the inside will do its job to keep your kids' foreheads dry, even when they catch the superstar and race around at superspeeds.
Super Mario, super moments
Embracing all the fun that comes with Mario doesn't have to be crammed into one day.
Super Mario and all the super moments that come with this iconic game can be squeezed into each and every day, all year long.
This definitely seems to be the case with our twins, and as their parents, we're having an awful lot of fun diving back into the classic game and reliving our own childhoods as our little ones relish in theirs.
