Parents, aunts, uncles, or anyone who secretly hogs the TV to watch Australia's favorite cartoon family, get ready to celebrate. The Heelers are making a massive move into your gaming line-up!
Apple just announced that Bluey is taking over five fan-favorite games on Apple Arcade starting Thursday, May 21.
That's right. Bluey's coming to Apple Arcade.
For real life.
For real life.
It's billed as the ultimate mobile playdate, and, honestly, it looks like a ton of wholesome fun for the entire family.
What's Apple Arcade?
Before we dig into what games are getting a Bluey makeover, you might be wondering what exactly Apple Arcade is.
Think of it like Netflix, but for video games on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV, but instead of buying games individually, you pay a low monthly fee to unlock a massive library of hundreds of premium games.
The best part for parents? Every single game on the service is completely free of annoying ad breaks and there are zero sneaky in-app purchases.
That means your kids can play safely without being interrupted, without accidentally running up your credit card bill, and without hitting a trifficult (as Bingo would put it) wall that forces you to buy digital coins just to keep going.
Bluey Comes to Apple Arcade
Now, to the fun stuff. Here's a breakdown of the exclusive Bluey updates that'll be coming to the gaming service starting May 21.
Crossy Road Castle: Explore the Heeler house
If you like chaotic, fun obstacle courses, this is going to be a major highlight. You can play solo or grab up to three friends or family members for a local co-op team. You'll get to navigate right through Bluey and Bingo's iconic house while dodging wayward yoga balls and avoiding mischievous garden gnomes.
Every two weeks, new characters from the show will join the fun. If you complete the challenges, you can permanently unlock your favorite characters, including a few secret ones! As if that's not fun enough, once you unlock Bluey's house, you get to keep it in your game (yes, for real life!) even after Bluey's takeover ends.
Suika Game+: Fruit-dropping chaos
The incredibly engaging fruit-stacking puzzle game is getting a playful Bluey update.
You still drop cute fruit pieces and match identical ones so they merge and grow bigger, but now, a playful Bluey-inspired presentation keeps things bright and relaxing.
Disney Coloring World+: Bring scenes to life
Perfect for the younger gamers in the house, this app features brand-new, interactive coloring pages featuring your favorite characters from Bluey.
Kids can tap into a variety of digital artistic tools to paint and bring the show's most recognizable on-screen moments to life, like Bluey and Bingo playing on a seesaw together.
stitch.: Calming cross-stitch patterns
If you prefer a slower, more casual gaming vibe to unwind at the end of the day, stitch. is a beautiful puzzle game based around realistic embroidery.
With the exclusive Bluey update, you'll be able to fill out grid patterns to complete gorgeous, handmade-looking cross-stitch artwork featuring the iconic characters and memorable moments from the series.
puffies.: Build your sticker book
Launching just a little bit later than the others, this puzzle experience will be available starting on June 10.
It lets you solve delightful brain-teasers based on classic episodes of the cartoon. As you clear the levels, you earn digital rewards to organize, customize, and build your very own visual Bluey sticker collection.
How much does it cost?
Apple Arcade costs $8.99 CAD per month, and it includes a one-month free trial if you're a new subscriber. One subscription covers up to six family members through Apple's Family Sharing, so everyone can play on their own device.
But, did you know that if you already pay for Apple One (the all-in-one monthly subscription bundle that combines iCloud storage, Apple Music, and Apple TV+), Apple Arcade is already included in your plan? If you have it, you can dive straight into these Bluey updates on May 21 without spending another dime.
If you're a Bluey family, this great news! Your family will have a brand new way to enjoy the show and its characters together.
And if you jump into the special edition challenges and events (starting as early as this Thursday and running through July), you have the chance to compete as a family.
These exclusive in-game updates run through June 24 for stitch., July 8 for puffies. and July 21 for Crossy Road Castle, Suika Game+, and Disney Coloring World+.
