Stories are important. They bring people together. They impart knowledge. They provide entertainment.
We tell tales about our day. We share narratives about our family. We chronicle moments in history by writing them down.
Stories allow us to connect with others in many different ways.
Not only do they invite us to create and collaborate, they nurture the delight of reading across generations.
The month of May is dedicated to creating and celebrating stories.

Some of our favorite stories right now include ones from the Sesame Street Friends series.
This collection, written by Andrea Posner-Sanchez, and published by Penguin Random House, the Sesame Street Friends board books series has 77 titles and is a part of the Random House Books for Young Readers library.
The stories certainly engage young readers with their bright pages and silly stanzas. Our twins love flipping through the sturdy pages many times a day.

A-Hunting We Will Go: 3 Ways to Make Easter Memorable with Your Twins
Leading up to Easter, there are always three big questions on my mind. One: Will the Easter Bunny bring me anything? Spoiler alert, the Bunny never disappoints. Two: Will the hunt be inside or outside? That one's a little less definite and can be a bit of a toss-up, depending on how early Easter falls. Growing up, my favorite Easter egg hunts were always the ones we did outdoors....

Essential Audiobooks Every Parent Should Check Out
As a parent, you have probably told yourself tons of times that you're going to read more on a certain subject or take the time to look something up when you get a few spare minutes later this week. And as a busy parent to multiple children who's running all over town to daycare drop-off, after-school pick-up, or a handful of extracurricular activities throughout the week, you probably...

Raise a Pawful of Hunny, it’s Winnie the Pooh Day
National Winnie the Pooh Day is celebrated every year on January 18, the birthday of A. A. Milne, who authored the famous books. We know, "Oh, bother," is one of Pooh's favorite exclamations, but one of our favorite things he ever said was, "Sometimes, the smallest things take up the most room in your heart." (We think about our wee, little preemies and how especially small they were...

For All the Good Girls & Boys: Stocking Stuffers Your Toddlers Will Love
In our household, Christmas is one of our favorite holidays. We start decorating about six weeks before December 25, slowly transitioning various areas all over our abode into Yuletide nooks and Kris Kringle crannies. By mid-December, there are only a handful of finishing touches left to incorporate that make it feel like Christmas in our home. Baking cookies for friends and family...
